Advanced Topics in Networking Experiments using GENI
Organizer
Niky Riga, GENI Project Office
Time
Tues 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Description
The purpose of this tutorial is to provide an overview of the GENI multi-campus, backbone (layer 2) network, and provide hands-on experience about how to design and conduct experiments that span multiple aggregates. In this tutorial, we are going to use the Omni client which is a command line tool for reserving resources across control frameworks. Although not a requirement, it is recommended that attendees are already familiar with Planetlab, ProtoGENI and OpenFlow aggregates. At the end of the tutorial attendees will have a working GENI slice including resources from the above aggregates.
