This session will discuss results from the meso-scale "Plastic Slices" project. GENI has been supporting ten or more slices continuously for this project for multiple months -- not merely for the sake of making long-running slices, but to gain experience managing and operating production-quality GENI resources with participating GENI campuses, regionals, operations groups, and software groups in Spiral 3. The session also provides advice for experimenters and others using OpenFlow, ProtoGENI, and PlantLab resources in GENI slices on a day-to-day basis.
