=== Tutorial: How To Easily Enhance Your Research or Classroom With Thousands of Nodes === ==== Presenters ==== [mailto:justinc@cs.washington.edu Justin Cappos], ''University of Washington, Seattle'' ==== Time ==== Tues 2:30 - 4:00 pm ==== Description ==== This tutorial will demonstrate how to use the Seattle testbed (also called Million Node GENI). The Seattle testbed has about 4000 machines online and includes many things not exposed by other testbeds, including mobility, NATs, phones, home nodes in China, etc. We will demonstrate how Seattle has been effectively used in the classroom and research lab. We will show (very rough plan): * An overview of the Seattle Testbed (~ 30 minutes)[[br]] * Demonstrations of student code and experiments (~ 15 minutes)[[br]] * Open Questions / Discussion. This give attendees information about Seattle's fit into their individual research project or classroom. (remainder) ==== Prerequisites ==== None ==== Please arrive with... ==== Laptop ==== Pre-work ==== None ==== Results ==== After completing this tutorial, you will be able to understand exactly how to use Seattle in the classroom and in research projects.
