Number of Reserved VM on each VM Server at each InstaGENI rack
How to pick which InstaGENI Rack to use
Three useful criteria for picking an InstaGENI rack to use are:
- Physical location of the node
- Whether the site supports stitching
- Load for the VM type you are interested in using.
In the All InstaGENI Racks table below, each row is an InstaGENI rack (sorted alphabetically and labeled if it is a stitching site).
Each cell represents a VM server. VM servers listed in the first column are always configured to create OpenVZ containers and those in later columns run xen virtual machines.
Each graph indicates the number of VMs running on that VM server over the last hour. Higher numbers indicate a heavier load.
In general, pick a VM server that matches your criteria for stitching support and geographical location and isn't running a heavy load.
