A. Activities and findings

I have significantly reduced my GENI efforts and corresponding spending during this past GENI trimester. My main responsibility has been to continue as the GENI LLR and a point of contact and expertise for any security incidents that should arise. I have also engaged in email list discussions on topics dealing with security and helped newcomers understand what has been done in this regard.

I was unable to attend the July GEC because of travel conflicts, but a few weeks before that I finally visited the GMOC. Since they are relatively close I have meant to do so for some time. We discussed GENI operations, their projects and security needs, and finally their OpenFlow load-balancer that they have presented at previous GEC poster sessions.

D. Outreach activities

There have no been substantial out reach activities beyond those already within the GENI community. These have been on phone calls, through emails and one site visit to the GMOC.

None outside of normal GEC activities and discussions and phone calls with the GPO and other GENI projects.
