11:20am It is important that everyone: [[BR]]
                 1)  Apply to the FCC for a license NOW  [[BR]]
                 2)  Do a site survey to find a place for your antenna and your testbed equipment  NOW[[BR]]

Harry:  A campus must have received an FCC license and completed its site survey, before it can receive a kit.  It is important that everyone apply for a license now.

A review of experience from these projects, and suggestions for others:[[BR]]
BBN Technologies (pending)      Tony Michel [[BR]]

Ivan:  You can specify up to three campus locations in an application, and can then decide on using one, two or even three later.  [[BR]]
You should check online for response from FCC, since paperwork comes much later.  [[BR]]

NEC Laboratories America (done)         Sampath Rangarajan [[BR]]
Sampath:  You should be sure to include "GENI MiMAX Meso-Scale Project Overview" to alert FCC to government contract form NSF.  [[BR]]
