CENICREGIONAL === Technical Contacts === '''PI''': David Reese, Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California (CENIC), dave@cenic.org [[BR]] === Participating Organizations === Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California (CENIC) [[BR]] === GPO Liaison System Engineer === '''GPO System Engineer:''' [mailto:hdempsey@bbn.com Heidi Dempsey] == Scope == This project will deploy an OpenFlow substrate in the California region to enable OpenFlow access to at least 15 campuses and 5 named multi-campus experiments. CENIC will integrate the new deployments with existing NLR and Internet2 OpenFlow deployments and the GENI control framework, and provide GENI aggregate operations and user support. The California Openflow Testbed (COTN) deployments will be fully compliant with GENI software standards for GENI aggregates, as published at GENI Engineering Conferences. The sites will use one or more GENI Aggregate Managers controlling access to the aggregate resources. The sites will also support GENI experimenter access. The sites will support shared GENI monitoring and operations procedures and interfaces for the meso-scale infrastructure as published at GENI Engineering Conferences. === Current Capabilities === BRIEF descriptions of resources/functions/tools that are available to anyone in the GENI community == Milestones == == Spiral 4 == * [[MilestoneDate(CENICREGIONAL: S4.a Review Network Design)]] * [[MilestoneDate(CENICREGIONAL: S4.b Deploy switches and bring up test connections)]] * [[MilestoneDate(CENICREGIONAL: S4.c Support multi-campus demo)]] * [[MilestoneDate(CENICREGIONAL: S4.d Integrate and test)]] * [[MilestoneDate(CENICREGIONAL: S4.e Make switch resources available to NSF experimenters)]]
