See http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/GEC10DemoSummary for examples.) The demo will show how pigeon network (an opportunistic mobile wireless network) experiments run on the ORBIT testbed. The experiment demonstrated will inolve both stationary and mobile nodes communicating over wireless networks. During the experiment, a web-based animation will show the dynamic locations of the nodes and a text console will show network activities between the nodes. List of equipment that will need AC connections (e.g. laptop, switch hardware prototype, monitor). (Just put in the number of connections needed if your demo description already lists the equipment) Two laptops and one or two monitors. Number of wired network connections (include required bandwidth if significant) Two. Number of wireless network connections (include required bandwidth if significant) Zero. (Or two if no wired network connections are provided). Number of static addresses needed (if any) Zero. Monitor (y/n, specify VGA or DVI) (Specify resolution only if your software has resolution restrictions.) Yes, one at least (two is better), VGA. Number of posters (max size poster boards are 30"" x 40"") One (20'' x 30''). Description of any special requests (include any non-commercial network connectivity needs, projects you'd like to be located near, etc.) Better be located near the ORBIT project." closed major OPPWIRELESS SPIRAL4 fixed GEC14 sroy@scs.howard.edu
