Indigo

Demo Participants: Guido Appenzeller, Kyle Forster Affiliation: Big Switch Networks/Stanford

Indigo is a free, open-source based OpenFlow implementation that runs on a number hardware switches. It forwards packets at line rates of up to 10Gb/s and fully supports the OpenFlow 1.0 standard. For researchers that have access to the switches SDK, the Indigo source code is available under an open source license.

Three connections needed (1 x Switch, 1 x Laptop, 1 x Monitor)

3. Number of wired network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)

None.

4. Number of wireless network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)

One. Low bandwidth.

5. Number of static addresses needed (if any)

None.

6. Projector (y/n) (Bring your own projectors if feasible)

We need 1 projector or monitor.

7. Monitor (y/n, specify VGA or DVI) (Specify resolution only if your software has resolution restrictions)

We need 1 projector or monitor.

8. Number of posters (max size poster boards are 30" x 40")

One.
