OnTimeMeasure GEC7 Demo Request

1. Brief demo description

The OnTimeMeasure-GENI team will demonstrate basic functionality of a measurement service for user experiments on the geographically distributed ProtoGENI aggregate. The demo will feature a web-portal for submitting measurement requests, controlling the measurement service, and querying measurement data within a ProtoGENI slice.

2. List of equipment that will need AC connections

We will need 3 AC connections to plug-in 2 laptops and a wide-screen monitor.

3. Number of wired network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)

We need 2 wired/wireless network connections.

4. Number of wireless network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)

We need 2 wired/wireless network connections.

5. Projector (y/n) Monitor (y/n, specify VGA or DVI) (Bring your own projectors if feasible)

7. Number of static addresses needed (if any)

We don't need static addresses.

8. Description of any special requests (e.g. VLANS to NLR or I2 backbone)

We will need to access a web-server on a ProtoGENI machine on Internet2 backbone. So, our web-traffic should be permitted to enter/exit Internet2 backbone from the demo venue.

Please provide the address (or address range) for the protoGENI web server so we can test accessibility before you arrive. We don't expact any problem, but would like to make sure.

Also, when you say wide-screen monitor, what size do you mean?

If you would like to upload your demo slides/images/poster or any other relevant document then please go to ​http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/GEC7Demos and attach your files. This would be helpful for our records as well as for people who could not attend the conference.

Once we have them, we plan to release a GEC7 Demo Summary document containing all the information about your demo.
