Chris Tracy posted the following offer to the GENI dev liston 8/14/09, completing this task.
Hello,
The Mid-Atlantic Network Facility for Research, Experimentation, and Development (MANFRED), operated by the Mid-Atlantic Crossroads, would like to announce that access to our substrate and control framework is now available for external research.
Users and researchers within the GENI community are welcome to request access to this facility. You can find out more by visiting our project's website at http://geni.maxgigapop.net. Click on "Request Access" for details on how to setup an account. The "Substrate" page has detailed information and diagrams regarding the capabilites and features that are currently deployed.
Although several GENI researchers (from PlanetLab, GUSH, and BBN) have already been accessing this facility, we look forward to opening up these resources to others within the GENI community. We welcome any feedback or suggestions on how we might improve the capabilities provided.
Thanks! -Chris
