ORBIT GEC5 demonstration

Our GEC5 demo will showcase ORBIT Framework's (OMF) current capabilities including new features of the following major components:

1. Control Plane: tools supporting orchestration of the experiment including domain specific language (OEDL) that allows the experimenter to specify the resource requirements, configuration, as well as to describe the experiment state machine.
2. Measurement Plane: consisting of Measurement Collection Server (MCS) and the Measurement Library (OML) that allow recording of any relevant metrics, local processing, and (opportunistic) local or centralized data collection.
3. Management Plane: set of components that are used for management of testbed resources.

For the actual demo, we will use "evaluation of performance of an ad-hoc enhanced bit-torrent client for vehicular networks" as an illustration of the experiment that will exercise, in addition to aforementiond OMF features, most of the testbed hardware components including wide area (WiMAX) wireless network and L2 link between the two testbeds: ORBIT in the USA and NICTA in Australia. Demo requirements are:

• Table space and power for two laptops
• projector / projector screen space
• wall space/board space 36" x 48" poster
• wired/wireless Internet connection
