Project Status Report Period: October 1, 2010 - March 30, 2011 I. Major accomplishments We began preparations for a workshop on attribution at GEC10. Unfortunately, the logistics of the meeting did not permit the workshop to be held, but we have been assured it will be held at GEC11. We also contacted several other groups working on projects related to attribution (NetKarma, LIFA/Shibboleth, and ABAC) and began compiling information from those projects in preparation for the workshop at GEC11. A. Milestones achieved (Modified) Deliverable S2.a, report begun; will be completed after workshop is held B. Deliverables made N/A II. Description of work performed during last quarter A. Activities and findings We worked on the workshop, a paper, and the report during this time period. We held a BoF on attribution over dinner at GEC10, and learned much about the other projects and participants' thought on attribution and how they might use our framework. We prepared a 2-page handout describing our project's goals for others. These were distributed at GEC10, and made available on our web page. Finally, we distilled our first year report into an 8-page paper highlighting attribution requirements for future Internet testbeds, and future Internets. We plan to submit this paper to the 2011 IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security. B.
