Description

The IMF project goals of the current spiral include showing integration of the OMF-style RC for the optical substrate functionality set. The demo will show current IMF capabilities, which include authentication (of user/entity using message service, and message sent by that user) and authorization (of the user to send the message), and also to show an experiment controller and resource controller modeled after the corresponding OMF entities using this service to communicate, with a focus on the above.

The demo will need AC connections for three laptops, two monitors.

We are closely collaborating with ORCA, and we would like to be located close to the ORCA demo.

Description

Brief demo description (A few sentences suitable for a GEC14 attendee information page. See http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/GEC10DemoSummary for examples.) Demonstration of a persistent Cloud infrastructure over multiple sites and continents, tied to the PlanetLab Control Framework. We will demonstrate Federated access control using ABAC, and federated access control between PlanetLab and GENICloud. We will demonstrate interoperation of PlanetLab and GENICloud slices.

We will demonstrate allocation of nodes on the InstaGENI rack; allocation of OpenFlow slices on the rack; instantiation of a PlanetLab node and allocation of an IG-PL slice; and federation with GENICloud
