We'll bring a demo of a federated experiment across 2-3 testbed facilities controlled by SEER expt control software. We'll need a) wired net access with good peak rate (our use will be limited overall, but bursty); b) 2-3 routed static IP addresses if possible (if your only static addresses are private/NATted we can probably deal, please let us know); c) AC power for 2 laptops and one largish monitor or projector; and d) space for: two posters, a large flat-panel monitor or small plasma display (or possibly a projector and white surface instead), a couple of laptops, and some handouts. A GMOC framework demo was done at GEC5. The demo site is located at http://gmoc-dev.grnoc.iu.edu. The demo has updates every 10 minutes from planetlab data and for all other components has static data. The demo includes a geographic and a 'logical' view of the system. The demo also includes data for slices and nodes from which there is data. The demo is expected to be kept in 'proto-production' mode. |
