Stitcher requests for ExoGENI resources are submitted to the ExoSM by default, but this request for a bare metal node was not be submitted to the ExoSM as expected. The failure reported was from the BBN SM which does not allocate Bare Metal.
The following stitcher ticker have been written:
http://trac.gpolab.bbn.com/gcf/ticket/496 - Add option to force ExoSM
Will update this ticket when able to test the stitching of bare metal nodes (current maintenance prevents this)

Able to stitch to a bare metal node in ExoGENI rack as long as the --useExoSM argument is used. This issue has been addressed closing ticket.
