Chris, i wanted to ask for a status update on this ticket: i know there are a lot of dependencies for doing this right, and it may take awhile. However, being able to see the switches is the big remaining requirement for us to start running our prerequisite acceptance tests as written, and the rest of our tests are blocked behind those. So if the timeframe is more like weeks than like days, we should do some thinking about alternatives so we can start testing.

Summary: | allow GPO sysadmins to login to BBN rack management and dataplane switches → enable LDAP/RADIUS access to BBN rack management and dataplane switches |
This access has been configured for the xoadmins
LDAP group on BBN switches, and is working. (Changed the summary and description to clarify that the task here was to get LDAP/RADIUS working, not to allow bbnadmins
per se.)
Closing, thanks.
Last known status: serial console access to the switches is needed as a prereq for this (as a fallback in case anything goes wrong while enabling and testing this), and is still debug debugged.
