Software
The GENI Portal software is available at https://github.com/GENI-NSF/geni-portal. Software releases, including RPMs and changes, can be found under the "Releases" tab.
Detailed installation instructions can be found in the file INSTALL-centos.md. Software updates are installed via RPM using yum.
Configuration Management
The GENI Portal host runs CentOS 7. Packages are updated periodically as part of software updates. Privileged host accounts are created and managed by the University of Kentucky staff.
Each portal page lists the currently running portal software version and corresponds to one of the releases found on the geni-portal GitHub repository (see above).
Data Plane
The GENI Portal has no data plane connectivity.

Public connectivity to the GENI Portal is provided by Amazon Web Services

Remote Console Access
There is no access to a remote console on Amazon Web Services. AWS allows access to the last 64KB of console output via the EC2 console and via command line APIs.
