ExptsSecurity Project Status Report
Period: GEC15 (Oct 23-25) 2012
I. Major accomplishments
A. Milestones achieved
We delivered the report as stated in the Milestone ExptsSec:S4.d.
The report summarized the experiments in exploring current user key management and proposed suggestions that can simplify some of it. Specifically, we investigated issues of multiple SSH keys and the remote login tools. The report also studied the access control mechanisms of GENI. Robot behavior of continuously requesting resources should be tackled, and suggestions on Human-Robot distinguisher were made in the report.
We also delivered the report for the Milestone ExptsSec:S4.c. The work was performed in the summer.

II. Description of work performed during last quarter
A. Activities and findings
Major activities are the analysis and experiments in the following areas:
Analyzing the SSH keys and remote login tools, safety issue of credentials, and Human-Robot distinguisher. The findings are delivered in the documents stated in the milestones.
We participated in GEC15 and attended related tracks and sessions.

GENI and ProtoGENI are introduced in Dr. Hong’s graduate course in the Fall 2012. GENI and ProtoGENI were introduced to a couple of universities in China during Dr. Hong’s visit in the summer of 2012.
