OKGems Project Status Report

Period: 3Q12

I. Major accomplishments

  • Conducted extensive experiments on ExoGENI platform
  • Built a complete ceiling sensor grid testbed at University of Florida
  • Built the MagicLink middleware and protocol
  • Built a local computer rack, an OpenFlow switch to be installed in the rack

A. Milestones achieved

  • OKGEMS: S4.e Demonstration at GEC14 and Experimenter Outreach
  • We will give a demo and two posters at GEC15

II. Description of work performed during last quarter

  • Summary of accomplishments related to OKGems:
    • Built a sensor network testbed below the ceiling in our lab at UF (with about 120 nodes)
    • Conducted experiments on ORCA/ExoGENI slices
    • Prepared posters for GEC15

  • Prepare experimental demo on ORCA ExoGENI at GEC15
