 The subnets of 10.42.0.0/16 are typically used by MyPLC plnodes on an alias subinterface of a VLAN-based sub-interface, e.g. eth1.1750:42101 for 10.42.101.0/24 on VLAN 1750. They could theoretically be put on other interfaces, but given the large size of the 10.0.0.0/8 space, we'd prefer to use them only in this fashion.
We typically give /24 subnets of 10.42.0.0/16 to experiments who want to do IP-based things on the shared mesoscale.

=== MyPLC-compatible subnets of 10.42.0.0/16 ===

Subnets 10 - 19 and 100 - 149 are plumbed to MyPLC plnodes, with addresses assigned as described [wiki:NetworkCore/SubnetReservations#IPaddresses below]. On those subnets, experimenters SHOULD NOT use the addresses that are assigned to MyPLC plnodes.

The following table tracks which of those subnets are currently assigned, and to whom.
