ExoGENI Custom Images

In ExoGENI there are multiple ways that you can create custom Images.

To get a list of currently available images on ExoGENI racks take a look at the ORCA Image Registry site available here:

• ​http://geni.renci.org:15080/registry/images.jsp

If you choose to create a custom image for ExoGENI, information is available on how to:

• ​Modify an existing image loaded on a EG VM and take a snapshot

If you want to create an image of an OS that is not currently available in EG, or port your custom image to EG you can use VirtualBox to create and snapshot your image, see the page:
