+However, it turns out that allowing me to receive e-mail from the rack, depends on a temporary configuration which suppressed synchronization of nagios users with LDAP changes (see [exoticket:29]).  So i created [exoticket:30] for a permanent solution to that problem, and that now blocks this step.
