GEC9 Plenary Demonstrations Snapshots

This page captures GPO snapshots of the environment for each of the GEC9 plenary demonstrations. Snapshots are captured at stages of the deployment where the demo or a subset of the demo runs successfully. New snapshots are created when significant changes take place, such as these:

  • A new site is added.
  • A network topology change takes place.
  • New software is deployed.

Snapshots are planned for all GEC9 plenary demonstrations which currently includes the following demonstrations:

  • Aster*x
  • Education (CDN)
  • NetServ
  • Pathlet
  • SmartRE
  • GENIViolin
  • WiMAX
  • OpenFlow

Because many different people in GENI have shared access to the resources for these demos, it is not possible to guarantee that a snapshot includes all the most recent changes in a demo at any particular time, but the GPO captures as much of the information as we can. If you have a critical question about a demo, please email gec9-demos@geni.net, which includes all the active plenary demo participants. Demo participants with GENI wiki accounts may update this page as needed when they make changes in a demo.

Snapshots capture software, hardware, configuration and topologies used for each of these demonstrations. The spreadsheet Demos-snapshot.xls captures the latest data collected for all demos, and it allows for sorting by various demo criteria. Currently it only includes Pathlet demo details.

Open Flow VLANs

This page will also track a list of VLANs that are used for all plenary demos. (GENI-wide VLAN information is available at GENI Connectivity Home.)

Following is a list which is updated as VLANs become available, current list was updated on 2010/10/04:
