Travel GrantsA limited number of travel grants are available for persons wishing to attend the GEC. The purpose of the grants is to increase the educational, ethnic and geographic diversity of conference attendees and to create opportunities for informal social networking between participants from a wide range of universities and companies. Any applicant affiliated with a U.S institution, including students at U.S schools, is eligible. Application deadline: February 4th but applications will continue to be accepted after that date while funds are available. Notifications: Those applying by the deadline will be notified by February 10th. |

GENI Regional WorkshopA GENI Regional Workshop will precede GEC24 on Monday March 7th. If you are interested in hands-on tutorials, you must register separately for the regional workshop. More information about it and registration can be found in the GRW webpage. Airport and transportation informationThe nearest airport to the conference is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) ( airport website). If you are staying at the GEC-24 hotel (Moxy Tempe): when you arrive at the airport, please call the hotel (480-968-3451). They will send a personalized Uber taxi to pick your party up, at the hotel's expense. Public transportation is also available from the PHX airport to Tempe. You can catch the lightrail for $2.00 (one ride). There are three lightrail stops very close to ASU campus:
