Description
Use the GENI Desktop and GEMINI to instrument, measure, and visualize a real GENI experiment. Explore intermediate and advanced features of GENI Desktop.
This tutorial will take you through the steps of initializing and instrumentizing a GENI slice to enable basic passive measurement gathering. It will also show you how to configure and schedule active measurements in your slice and view your measurements in various ways.
This tutorial will utilize the following tools: GENI Desktop, GENI Portal
This tutorial will focus on recent features added since the last GENI Desktop tutorial.

The following background will be helpful for this tutorial:
- A basic understanding of GENI concepts such as those covered in the An Introduction to GENI and Experimentation using GENI talk prior to this tutorial
