II. Description of work performed during last quarter

This effort commenced at SPARTA on December 5th, 2010, as the contract was not completely executed until Nov 13th, 2010, and the subsequent Thanksgiving holiday meant that technical and contract staff were not available to begin the effort until early December.

A very modest number of hours (less than 2 staff days) were spent in beginning our understanding of the current state of the ProtoGENI control framework, with an aim toward indentifying a candidate software element within that control framework that would be a suitable target for integration with the current ABAC implementation.

No initial activities beyond beginning to investigate ProtoGENI.

The following SPARTA staff are participating in the ABAC project: Stephen Schwab, Jay Jacobs.

D. Outreach activities

None.

E. Collaborations

As the project has just started, we have not had time to collaborate with other groups, beyond seeking pointers to the current ProtoGENI documentation.
