Demo: Continuous Vehicular Connectivity through Multiple Wide-area Interfaces

This demo will highlight real-time tracking and monitoring of mobile testbed nodes deployed on Madison city busses and Coach USA vehicles. Nodes connect via 3G and WiMax depending on the deployment.

  1. List of equipment that will need AC connections (e.g. laptop, switch hardware prototype, monitor). (Just put in the number of connections needed if your demo description already lists the equipment)

Need 2 AC connections for 1 laptop, 1 projector or monitor.

  1. Number of wired network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)

Need 1 wired connection. Bandwidth no greater than 1Mb / sec at peak usage.

  1. Number of wireless network connections (include required bandwidth if significant) only

Need 1 wireless connection. Bandwidth no greater than 1Mb / sec at peak usage.

  1. Projector (y/n) Monitor (y/n, specify VGA or DVI. Specify resolution only if your software has resolution restrictions) Bring your own projectors if feasible.

Projector: Y (preferred)

Monitor: Y ONLY IF no projector is available

  1. Number of posters (poster boards are 20" x 30")

Do you want your demo located near Rutgers or near the other UWI projects, or can it go anywhere?
