  1. Brief demo description (A few sentences suitable for a GEC9 attendee information page. See http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/GEC8DemoSummary for examples.)

GENICloud: GENI Experiments Running in the Cloud Demo Participants: Alvin Au Young, Andy Bavier, Jessica Blaine, James Kempf, Joe Mambretti, Rick McGeer, Alex Snoeren, Marco Yuen GENICloud is a flexible, SFA-based cloud environment running at HP OpenCirrus, UCSD, and Northwestern. In this demo we will show the capabilities of the GENICloud environment by showing a multi-site cloud-based transcoding application, that will be shown on both the show floor and available to any participant with an Internet connection.

  1. List of equipment that will need AC connections (e.g. laptop, switch hardware prototype, monitor). (Just put in the number of connections needed if your demo description already lists the equipment)

2 laptops, 2 external monitors, 2 desktop computers, one projector

  1. Number of wired network connections (include required bandwidth if significant)

Please confirm ASAP that "external monitors" means ou are planning to bring 2 of your own monitors and that they will fit on the standard 6' tables provided for GENI demos.

We had assumed that monitors would be provided by GPO, is this not the case for GEC 9?

We will provide them. I was just confused by the term "external monitors." Thanks for clearing that up.

Please use only addresses in your assigned range. Other IP addresses will be in use by other Demos as well as the hotel.
