Description

Demo description paragraph (three sentence minimum): The University of Wisconsin-Madison's GENI WiMAX installations have extended to the Kemp Natural Resource Station in northern Wisconsin. We are GENI enabling the research facility of ecology students and field classes for research connectivity out in the forest and lake areas. This demo shows the current infrastructure, planned research sites, and video coverage at Kemp.

List of equipment that will need AC connections (e.g. laptop, switch, monitor): 2 (laptop, monitor)

Total number of wired network connections (sum standard IP and VLAN connections): 1

Number of wired layer 2 VLANs (if any): 0

Number of wireless network connections (include required bandwidth if significant): 1

Number of static addresses needed (if any): 0

Monitor (y/n, specify VGA or DVI): yes, VGA

Number of posters (max size poster boards are 30" x 40"): 1

Special requests: None.
