Milestone CMU Lab: Merge patches into ProtoGENI distribution

Task 8: Integrate ProtoGENI and Emulab patches back into main ProtoGENI source tree / distribute patches as independent software release. Integrate/release wireless node control patches similarly.

This is an ongoing task as development continues. Initial code has been folded into ProtoGENI, successive code modifications will be tracked using individual tickets associated with functional milestones.
